On October 26th, 2024 T.H.E. Garden Club went “Into the Woods” with a fantastic group of party guests who embraced the benefit’s theme with tremendous creative energy, showing up as woodland creatures, intricately crafted fungi, storybook legends, forest fairies, majestic elves, poisonous plants and many other strange things that go bump in the night.

Stunningly thematic, dark, fall-themed passed appetizers and a grazing table were provided by June Hong and her team from June & Janie Eats. Custom cocktails were served by the alchemist bartender in the “Spookeasy,” which guests enjoyed while roaming Kris Haberman and Ernest De la Torre’s stunning four-acre wooded property outfitted with numerous hand-crafted Halloween vignettes that were both creepy and delightful.

Raffle keys were sold throughout the night giving guests a chance to unlock one of three prize boxes, each worth thousands of dollars in donated items.

All event proceeds will benefit T.H.E. Garden Club’s 2024-2025 school year program goals including hydroponic growing systems, the development of a school garden CSA benefitting the Food for Families initiative, and supplies needed to construct new pollinator, rain, and sensory gardens in schools K-5.

We thank everyone who came and contributed for their generous support and for a wildly fun evening!
